How Dreamworld should return to theme park normalcy

It seems every six months or so news surfaces of another attraction destined for Dreamworld that wouldn't find its way into any normal single-price theme park. The reason why is not difficult; by boosting per-capita spending -- the average amount each guests spends in the park -- they can increase profits without having to go to the more costly expense of attracting new clientele. The Colonel's Choice: Dreamworld appoints KFC manager to top position

In a move that isn't without precedent, Macquarie Leisure Trust Group have once again appointed an theme park industry outsider to the Gold Coast theme parks' top position. Former operating officer of New Zealand KFC, Starbucks and Pizza Hut properties will take the position effective immediately, having spent a year with the diverse leisure company as their COO. >>5 comments
